State-wide mental health agency with local openings in Central & Tidewater area offices is seeking Virginia State certified CSAC with QMHP(A) professionals for full-time, salaried positions. Highly competitive pay with Medical, Dental, and Health benefits pays ($52,000-62,400.00) annually. Eligible candidates possess CSAC certification with QMHP(A) or are LSATP (LMHP Pay is Negotiable) by the Virginia Board of Health Professionals. The candidate will perform intensive community substance abuse treatment services to a small group of approximately four (4) clients.
A Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed marriage and family therapist, substance abuse treatment practitioner, or certification as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH LICENSURE IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA WILL BE CONSIDERED.

This position requires at least a masters or doctorate degree in an approved area of human services, (Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, etc.), and A MINIMUM, OF 2 (TWO) OR MORE YEARS OF DIRECT CLINICAL COUNSELING EXPERIENCE PREFERABLY IN COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH. Clinical experience means providing direct clinical services to clients with a diagnosed mental illness. You must have had supervised internships, practicum, and also field experience. Looking for candidates with a high level of professionalism, proven interpersonal and communication skills and excellent references. This position also requires at least one or more years of supervisory experience.
