Located in the chic DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, the Phoenix House Riverwalk Campus is in the midst of a total renovation, at a transformational chapter in our company’s history. Phoenix House, now in its 50th year, is a national non-profit provider of substance use disorder treatment. We are looking for a teammate to lead what will be the company’s flagship program, which will be home to an assessment center, a 120-bed residential program, and an outpatient program. The Campus Director will partner with the company’s regional and national leadership to design and deliver a best-in-class treatment experience.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative leader to oversee all the elements of care and patient experience at Riverwalk. The ideal candidate is a strong clinician and administrator, is forward-thinking, flexible, and inspirational. We are out to transform the way people think about and deliver substance use disorder treatment and are looking for partners to accomplish this.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Campus Director reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and responsible for the management of the 8-20 residential program, outpatient program, detox, and medical services. Responsible for day to day management of the residence and services, corresponding to the following elements of the treatment/recovery process: stabilization, rehabilitation and reintegration plus administrative functions and reporting, including preparing annual budgets, controlling monthly expenses, scheduling staff and issuing required monthly reports. Developing relationships with appropriate government agencies and community service providers, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or related major
• Doctoral degree in a related field preferred
• Unrestricted NYS license in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling (if licensed elsewhere, willingness to apply for a NYS license)
• Minimum seven (7) years’ related experience in the chemical dependence treatment field
