Are you someone with experience in substance use disorder programs and treatment? Do you have a desire to help Oregonians with recovery? Health Systems Division of OHA is looking for someone to provide leadership, development, implementation and accountability relate to Measure 110 and its oversight for substance use disorder programs. If you are an experienced operations and policy analyst, we need you to apply today! What you will do! You will facilitate weekly or monthly meetings to ensure services maintain integrity! You will coordinate and provide harm reduction model, education and training for stakeholders! You will serve as contract coordinator including drafts and audits of contracts and procurement documentation! You will coordinate the gathering of information related to local level successes and challenges in order to make adjustments to practice and strategy! You will facilitate grant projects, special studies, projects, task forces, or meetings including the writing of reports outlining impact of legislative proposals! You will implement programs at local level, including underserved populations such as communities of color, tribal communities, and rural/frontier communities! What’s in it for you? WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Required • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills for behavioral health systems work; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work; OR any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification. Requested • Experience in advancing health equity, addressing systemic health disparities and collaborating with diverse, vulnerable and underrepresented populations. • Preference will be given to candidates that reflect a knowledge of harm reduction principles and practices in their cover letter and application. • Preference will be given to candidates that reflect the ability to collect and evaluate data for program metrics in their application. • Preference is for an advanced degree in a mental health field or public health field. • Extensive knowledge of public health principles. • General knowledge of principles and practices of budgeting, accounting, and legislative process. • Skill in writing and analyzing general, statistical and technical reports. • Skill in presenting and defending data, research and administrative studies. • The person in this positon must understand the full continuum of behavioral health care, with specific understanding of the cross section between substance use disorder, community corrections and systemic racism. • Familiar with peer services and peer run organizations. This includes scope of work, certification, training and education needs. • Experience implementing programs at local level, including culturally responsive programs in communities of color, tribal communities, and rural/frontier communities.
